Empire Metals is sitting on what may be the largest titanium resource ever reported. The question now is how fast it can move from resource to working operation.
Empire Metals Company Profile
Empire Metals Limited (LON: EEE) is advancing the Pitfield Titanium Project in Western Australia's Mid-West region. This is not a typical early-stage explorer with a speculative land package. The Company has drilled extensively, built out a world-class technical team, and has a processing route that is already showing strong results in the laboratory.
What draws attention to Pitfield is how the deposit is structured. Material close to the surface has already been naturally weathered, so the Company can mine it without blasting, without stripping overburden, and without the capital-intensive setup that makes most mining projects slow and expensive to get up and running. That is a genuine operational advantage, not just a talking point.
The metallurgy has backed it up. Testwork has confirmed high-purity titanium dioxide can be produced from Pitfield ore, alongside a high-grade alumina by-product that adds another layer of commercial value to the flowsheet.
The Project is located in a well-connected part of Western Australia with road, rail and port access already established. The Company raised GBP8 million from institutional investors in May 2026 and is targeting an ASX dual listing by the end of 2026.
Empire Metals Stock News
The second half of 2026 is where things start moving in earnest for Empire Metals. Pilot-scale processing work is running to check whether what has worked in the lab can hold up at larger scale. Engineering and economic studies are progressing at the same time, building the foundation the Company needs before it can make a Final Investment Decision.
On the commercial side, Empire Metals is out talking to potential customers in the pigment and titanium sponge markets, developing product specifications and building the market relationships that any new producer needs before it ships its first tonne.
Canaccord Genuity and Zeus Capital both cover the stock with Buy ratings, and both carry target prices well above where the shares are currently trading.
Commodity Performance
Titanium does not get the same attention as lithium or copper, but the supply story is just as compelling. China controls most of the world's existing production, but what it produces does not meet the quality bar for aerospace and defence applications. Western governments have noticed, and both the United States and Europe are actively looking for new, reliable sources of high-purity supply. Pitfield is being developed with exactly those markets in mind.
